My fondest memories of Adath are celebrating life cycle events starting with the baby naming and subsequent bat mitzvahs of both of our children. The Torah project is another highlight.

Rabbis Adler & Grossman have always been kind & welcoming to myself & family. Adath is a special place with amazing singing by Evette & Art Katlin who are not only talented but kind & inviting.

We have been members of Adath for over 20 years and there have been so many great memories, especially including the Bat Mitzvahs of our three daughters. Although it was just days ago, I experienced a special memory being honored at the Women’s League Torah Fund Dinner. It was wonderful being surrounded with so many of our family, friends, and Adath family!

I have many favorite memories being involved in Adath’s USY, Confirmation and as a Madricha. I choose my Confirmation trip to Washington and the Univ. of Maryland as my top memory because it introduced me to the school I love and where I’ll be finishing my sophomore year.

Make sure you don’t ruin or destroy My world. If you do, there will be no one after you to fix it.’(Midrash Ecclesiastes Rabbah 7:20)

My favorite memory at Adath was joining the Adult Education committee chaired by Beverly Rubman. We had so much fun planning and executing wonderful educational programs, especially those on Sunday mornings, and I made great friends in the process. It was gratifying and rewarding to be part of this great committee.

My warm memory of Adath Israel is of the concluding service of Yom Kippur when many congregants young and old blow their shofars.
